
Corporate Sustainability Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies**:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust sustainability strategies that align seamlessly with the company's overarching goals and values. Spearhead the identification and execution of innovative sustainability initiatives, strategically designed to elevate the environmental, social, and economic impact of our operations.
**2. Environmental Stewardship**:
Lead the development and implementation of environmentally conscious policies and practices geared towards minimizing our ecological footprint. Proactively drive initiatives to optimize resource utilization, decrease waste, and champion responsible sourcing practices throughout the organization.
**3. Stakeholder Engagement**:
Cultivate robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a shared commitment to sustainability practices. Collaborate closely with community partners, NGOs, and industry organizations to strengthen the company's corporate social responsibility. Proactively engage with subsidiaries, both local and overseas, to instill a culture of sustainability, and work collaboratively with them to impart knowledge and guidance on ESG principles and practices.
**4. Subsidiary Collaboration**:
Collaborate closely with subsidiaries to gather and consolidate ESG data. Offer support and resources to assist subsidiaries in aligning their sustainability initiatives with the overarching corporate strategy. Encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing among subsidiaries to strengthen collective sustainability endeavors.
**5. Metrics and Reporting**:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for sustainability initiatives and consistently communicate progress to senior management. Develop thorough sustainability reports for both internal and external audiences, prioritizing transparency and accountability in our commitment to responsible business practices.
**6. Employee Education and Engagement**:
Create and execute training programs to educate employees on best practices in sustainability. Actively involve and encourage participation from employees in subsidiaries, fostering their support. Cultivate a culture of heightened sustainability awareness and responsibility across all organizational levels.
**7. Regulatory Compliance**:
Stay informed about emerging sustainability regulations and guarantee the company's adherence to pertinent standards and requirements. Work collaboratively with legal and compliance teams to formulate and implement policies that align with both current and anticipated sustainability regulations.
**Job Requirements:
1. Degree in related/relevant discipline (e.g. sustainability, environment or social science, accountancy, business) or knowledge of key sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, UN SDG, TCFD). Familiarity with ESG benchmarks/indices (e.g. GRESB, CDP, MSCI)
