**Job statement**:

- Integral part of the Settlement Team, reporting directly to the Trade Settlement Supervisor, with dotted line to the Operations Dept. Head.

**Job description**:
1. Trade Documentation Management : Handling and verifying trade documents such as letters of credit, bills of lading, invoices, and insurance documents to ensure they are accurate, complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements, bank policies and terms of trade. This may involve coordinating with internal teams, customers, and external parties.

2. Trade Finance Transactions : Processing and executing trade finance transactions including letters of credit, documentary collections, trade loans, telegraphic transfer and guarantees according to established procedures and guidelines.

3. Team Collaboration : Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as relationship managers, credit analysts, trade processing centre and compliance officers to provide timely and accurate information to clients regarding trade transactions and resolving any issues or discrepancies.

4. Regulatory Compliance : Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments related to trade finance and ensuring that the bank's trade operations comply with applicable laws, relevant regulations and industry standards.

5. Trade Reporting : Generating reports and data analysis related to trade finance activities for management reporting, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting purposes.

**Criteria**:

- Stealth accuracy and attention to details.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trade finance processing.
- Adequate knowledge of trade finance products, processes and guidelines, including but not limited to UCP, ISBP, Inco Terms and URDG.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirement in the banking industry, in the context of international trade particularly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external parties.
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor degree in Banking and/or Finance or related studies.
