Marketing Manager

1) Role and Responsibility
a) Lead the sales of the Group’s portfolio of products for Africa markets and developed appropriate marketing strategies for the assigned countries/markets.
b) Manage the entire trade process from contract signing to supply delivery and full payment.
c) Capture the sales against the agreed volume and margins with existing customer base and new customers.
d) Work closely with company support teams to ensure contracts are executed smoothly.
e) Visit the markets at least 3 times a year to sell and update management of market development on the ground.
2) Must have extensive experience in East Africa countries to understand the business practices and cultural norms in the assigned countries.
a) Conducted business in the different Africa markets for at least 7 years.
b) Lived in Africa for at least 3 years.
c) Traded in commodities type products namely: vegetable oils, rice, soap, milk.
d) Have some existing customers who are already buying palm oil.
e) Able to speak and communicate in the local and foreign languages of East Africa countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda).
f) Able to travel to assigned markets for extended period of up to 2 to 3 months.
3) Other requirements
a) Has a university degree in economics or business
