ALG has an exciting opportunity as a **Machinist** with our client that is an internationally renowned Engine OEM in Singapore. This is an ongoing contract position with the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to set-up, operate CNC / Shot Peen / Media Finish/ CMM or GOM machines.
- Able to perform manual deburring or blending.
- Able to perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
- Possesses CNC / Conventional machining, manual deburring / blending, peening, inspection skills and knowledge.
- Read and follow established procedures and work instructions.
- Able to interpret basic blueprint knowledge is preferable.
- Responsible for performing an assessment of risk of his/ her activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
- Require maintaining day to day 6s activities.
- Willing to work cross-functional areas.
- Required basic computer skills for day-to-day activity.
- Compliance with Company Code of Ethics and Export regulation.
- Support and participate in EH&S, Quality & ACE activities.
- Involve in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma / GCE 'N'/'O' level or equivalent with NITEC in Precision/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 years of relevant working experience in any Machining field.
- Working experience in Shot peening / CMM and Manual deburring / blending is preferable.
