**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the innovation team in strategizing and prioritizing continuous improvement projects, development and implement standardized continuous improvement, leveraging new technologies to enhance competitiveness and improve organisational efficiencies.
- Identify key areas for innovative transformation and/or disruptive technology strategies (including but not limited to approaches, methods, products and processes), develop plans according to varying timelines and manage these processes by aligning innovation goals with the Company’s, stakeholder’s and client’s business objectives.
- Ideate and manage innovation pipeline to ensure that each stage of the design thinking framework process is applied to each initiative.
- Scoping and managing innovation projects for feasibility of solutions/products to solve unique problem statements faced by the YCH Group’s world class operations and customers.
- Creating and overseeing a comprehensive long-term innovation strategy for the Company and be the custodian to company’s innovation roadmap. This includes, but is not limited to the following area: project management, gathering of requirements, solution design, implementation, verifying efficacy of proposed solution, training, etc.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to enhance innovative thinking culture around the Company.
- Advising management on yearly, medium-term, long-term and future innovation goals.
**JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS**
- Analyse data and develop metrics to discover business improvement and drive performance.
- Identify innovation trends and business opportunities within the market.
- Recognise promising ideas and finds ways to introduce them into the future plans and discard ideas/practices that are ineffective, costly or beyond the scope of the Company’s mission.
- Meeting with stakeholders at different levels and cross-functions to identify areas of innovation and growth.
- Lead, coordinate, manage, design and implement innovation projects all cross-functional activities throughout the innovation cycle (from problem statement framing, requirement gathering, project management and ideally regional deployment of successful projects).
- Management of innovation projects, including working closely with various stakeholders to collect project requirements, timeline management, obtaining budget approvals and presentation to appropriate management.
- Oversee regulatory requirement and compliance ensuring innovation roadmap is coherent to current and future market trend.
- Conduct due diligence on the capabilities of partners and evaluates the various alternatives for venture, adoption and/or growth.
- Presenting new ideas and approaches to high-level stakeholders and seeking relevant grants from relevant government bodies.
- Any task as assigned by management
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Master’s Degree/ Degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- 8 years+ of experience within logistic, supply chain industry with demonstrated projects management and roll-out with min. 5 years in leadership position
- APICS advantageous
- Entrepreneurial mentality to navigate and lead organizational department
- Proficient in project management, solutioning and data analysis.
- Organized and possesses ability to manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, strong organizational and time
- management
- Forward-thinking and adaptable to dynamic situations.
- Possess in-depth understanding of innovation and how it should be applied in business.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation skills with strong business acumen.
