**MANAGER (TREATY & FACULTATIVE)**

As a reinsurance specialist, the company works on behalf of insurance companies and non-traditional entities (such as Captives) to facilitate the placement of Treaty and Facultative (including the full range of Non-Life insurance Classes) reinsurance programs.

We have a dedicated team of specialists in the area of Treaty and Facultative reinsurance to handle the full range of business for the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Production & broking support of Treaty & Facultative business from ASEAN and SAARC markets (including India), Middle East, and Southeast Asian markets.
- Placement, negotiation & servicing of Treaty & Facultative accounts in respect of given portfolio
- Strong marketing & technical support with clients
- Producing quotation & reinsurance slips, cover notes and contract wordings
- Perform pre-underwriting work such as financial analysis and statistics (Treaty & Facultative)
- Monitoring the follow-up on quotation requests with reinsurance underwriters
- Business development processes such as desk research for prospective clients
- Servicing of reinsurance accounts and claims and overseas travel, if required
- Responding to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers & clients
- Document all external correspondence and telephone conversations in accordance with Company’s procedures, including where appropriate, Professional Standards guidelines, minimizing the potential for errors and omissions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years experience in Treaty & Facultative Reinsurance Broking and/or Reinsurance Underwriting classes. Preferably at least 5 years experience in a reinsurance regional role.
- Independent, good communication skills, and a pleasant personality
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and a good working attitude
- Analytical, meticulous, able to multi-task, and a team player
- High written & verbal proficiency in another major Asian language will be an added advantage

Position and remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualification.
