Roles & Responsibilities

**QA Engineer**

Avensys is a reputed global IT professional services company headquartered in Singapore. **Job Scope**:

- Creating automated test cases for integration with our CI/CD pipeline
- Continuous development of API and UI automation for the new features in every release
- Ensure peer reviews of test cases are being completed for new code
- Create, execute, improve, and maintain automation test scripts through best practices, closely monitor test results for feedback
- Execute planned test cases and perform exploratory testing in areas potentially affected by the implementation of a requirement or bug fix
- Actively ensure testing standards are being upheld and test case specifications cover risk areas
- Ability to define use cases and convert them into test scenarios and test cases
- Collaborate with Product Owner/Scrum Master/Team Lead/Architect/UX Tests solutions
**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 6 months to 10 Years of professional work experience in the Information Technology field, focusing on Quality Assurance processes methodologies
- Experience using test frameworks in a CI/CD environment (Keyword, BDD, Hybrid, Jenkins)
- Proficiency in programming with one of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, C, C++
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing in one of the following selenium, QTP, Robot Framework
- 2 or more years of experience in at least one of the API/Unit test automation frameworks: Viz, JUnit, TestNG
- 1+ years of experience in API testing using tools Rest Assured, Postman etc.
- Experience with writing both functional and non-functional test cases
- Significant experience in using various bug tracking, source control and build release tools, like JIRA, QC, Bugzilla
- Prior experience with Scrum, Agile Methodology
- Strong teamwork and excellent problem solving and communication skills
