**Overview**:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Assistant Production Engineer to support the execution of production activities across both in-house and vendor sites. Reporting to the department manager, you will work as part of a collaborative team to manage resources, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely and high-quality output of engineering deliverables. This position requires strong hands-on technical capabilities, a solution-oriented mindset, and excellent team coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- 1. Project Delivery and Execution _
- Manage and support production schedules aligned with project timelines and customer delivery expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand technical requirements, key milestones, and system deliverables.
- 2. Quality Assurance _
- Uphold and implement quality standards and procedures throughout the production cycle.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts by recommending and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in ensuring product reliability and compliance with specifications.
- 3. Health and Safety_
- Support efforts to ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment at vendor sites and in-house workshops.
- 4. Collaboration and Communication _
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and logistics.
- Foster effective communication within the production team to ensure smooth coordination and timely issue resolution.
- 5. Technical Support_
- Conduct mechanical and electrical integration, assembly, and fabrication works.
- Support First Article Inspections (FAI), Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and other validation processes on assembled systems.
- Perform Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) on completed products and assemblies.

**Job Requirements**:

- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an assembly, production, and testing environment—preferably related to unmanned systems or similar subassemblies.
- Exposure to or experience in defence-related production environments is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work with mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

Pay: $2,700.00 - $3,200.00 per month
