- We are supporting our client, a top tier global investment bank who is seeking to recruit a Product Controller at VP level to oversee their commodities business from a control and governance perspective.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsibility for the supervisory oversight of the Commodities Product Control team. This responsibility encompasses:

- Ensuring adequate controls are in place and that operational risk is minimised
- Drive the identification and rollout of any key initiatives including but not limited to system enhancements, process automation and accounting regulation change implementation
- Develop and relationship manage a strong external and internal network of key business stakeholders
- Provide ongoing support to the team and ensuring there is a rigid governance structure and that team goals are aligned with department projections

**_Knowledge, skills and experience required:_**
- Strong understanding of valuation concepts and methodology
- CA or CPA Accounting qualified with at least 8 years + post qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, IAS)
- In depth knowledge of financial market products in particular commodities, FX, Securities and Derivatives
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as a track record of interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to challenge efficiency and drive forward on change and innovation of processes in particular Operational Risk Framework and the design and implementation of strategic infrastructure
