We are seeking a proactive and motivated Cost and Capacity Senior Associate to support the Transport Performance team at RedMart Lazada Singapore. The individual is responsible for adjusting capacity based on the overall network strategy and projected demand while simultaneously monitoring and controlling the cost of RedMart Operations across our Fulfilment and Distribution Centres and our island wide Delivery Network.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Capacity Management
- Use trends and forecasting methods to estimate weekly transport capacity requirements
- Accurately determine the daily capacity of the delivery network, considering vehicles, routes, zone, contractor, seasonality, etc.
- Align closely with fulfilment centre Capacity Planning Team for accurate overall capacity planning forecasts
- Allocate volume between various contractors according to performance and cost
- Adjust operational plans in an agile manner, with rapid deployment of alternatives
- Perform ad-hoc changes on daily & weekly basis
- Cost Management
- Monitor financial indicators for the transport team including P&L, invoicing and claims
- Develop and update operations costs models and track data continuously
- Forecast and determine budget for transport operations by working with Finance and Operations teams
- Vendor Management
- Respond to vendors’ queries and issues related to capacity and cost
- Participate in vendors’ reviews and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain external vendor and service provider relationships
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Transport Performance Manager

**Job Requirements**

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in transport capacity forecasting, planning, and/or analytics
- A good understanding of fulfilment centre and transport operations
- Prior experience in transport/fulfilment vendor management
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Able to meet deadlines via prioritisation and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
