Medical Social Worker

**Salary**: $4,000 - $5,000

Location: Buangkok

Working hours: Monday - Friday with one Saturday half day per month.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervisory, and administrative responsibilities include:
Oversee cases, accepting referrals in the IRMS system for intake assessment of cases and ensure that all MOH service requirements on financial and quality aspects are strictly adhered.

Provide counselling and emotional support to residents and their families, addressing issues such as adjustment to long-term care, grief, and coping with illness.

Complete and submit MSW Monthly report, Subsidy Change report and ILTC Quarterly report.

Having experience with IRMS, ILTC Portal and other relevant IT systems would be an advantage.

Prepare reports and documentation required for regulatory compliance and reimbursement purposes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and discharge plans in residents' medical records as per MOH requirements for audit purposes.

Administration of grants, subsidies and support services where relevant or necessary.

**Qualification**

Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

3 years of direct practice, 1 year of supervisory role

Registered social worker with the Social Work Accreditation Board (SWAB)

**Experience Level**

Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting, preferably working with elderly.

Strong assessment, counselling and communication skills

Knowledge of relevant regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in social work.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
