**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.**Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)**
- Provide and maintain a safe working environment and manage the Safety and Environmental performance of all personnel on site. Achievement of the Project Safety and Environmental Targets
- Plan work activities and identify hazards and controls in consultation with employees
- Conduct and record site inspections and risk assessments (including Hazard ID, risk analysis and control)
- Participate in the resolution of HSE issues
- Communicate and report on HSE issues/incidents (e.g. toolbox meetings)
- Monitor and guide contractors to ensure their compliance with the HSE Plan
- Manage the construction implementation in full compliance with Safety, Cost and Schedule as well as QA & QC
- Manage the QA Procedure and QC Compliance in implementation
- Ensures that all contractors comply with the safety regulations, local and employer required items. Investigates and ensures that any safety violations or deficiencies are immediately taken care of and has the authority to suspend the work or portions of the work until unsafe conditions are corrected and suitable preventive measures are implemented.

**2.**Site and Team Management**
- Assure accountability of employees and sub-contractors
- Management of a multi-discipline site team
- Responsible for all jobsite labour relations and co-ordinates the activities with representative groups.
- Recommend engagement of subcontractors and all major subcontract variations
- Functions as liaison between engineering and construction sites
- Responsible for constructability and construction planning during engineering phase
- Keeping the Project Manager informed of problems and issues pertaining to project during the construction execution
- Organize & hold construction kick off meeting, weekly construction meeting with subcontractors & internal meeting
- Supervising and coordinating Supervisors assigned to the project
- Resolving and coordinating with the inter discipline trades on construction issues during the project execution phase
- Assisting the Project Manager in the selection and approval of subcontractors
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating the assignment of field staff personnel
- Maintaining close liaison with the Client team to promote good relations
- Supervising and monitoring the execution of all subcontractors’ works to ensure that all contract items and conditions are fulfilled and that the installation is in accordance with plans, specifications and good practices
- Overall responsibility of site/construction implementation
- Managing the manpower and resources planning and mobilization allocation
- Delegate to field staff such functional responsibilities for construction engineering, craft supervision, contract administration, construction control and field office administration as are appropriate and supervise their performance.

**3.**Project Quality Plan & Budget**
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan
- Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities
- Preparation of manning and cost forecasts
- Control of changes to agreed plan - scope, time, cost, technical
- Establishes and implements construction schedules, methods, manning charts, material and equipment requirements
- Controls all jobsite expectations for labour, equipment, material and services and ensures field operations are within the budget
- Manages project indirect overhead budgets and develops fiscal plans
- Monitors performance and utilization, provides periodic projects
- Monitoring of projects to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, quality, contract and schedule requirements
- Monitoring the execution and updating of detailed field work schedules and coordinating subcontractors using the construction schedule and budget
- Constructability review and recommendation to support engineering and enhance constructability flow
- Manage the Pre-construction Planning, Procurement and Execution strategy
- Driven a Construction & Commissioning driven project strategy
- Managing the Procurement, Tender Evaluation and Selection of sub-contractors and follow thru the implementation, forecasting, FI & FVO and contract closeout
- Managing and tracking of procurement especially long lead item as well as bulk materials procurement and timely delivery.
