DBJ Singapore (the "Company”) is a subsidiary of Development Bank of Japan Inc. (“DBJ”), a financial institution wholly-owned by the Japanese government, which provides a wide range of financial products and services including senior debt, mezzanine, equity as well as financial advisory services.

1) **Business Planning and Relationship Management**: Expand DBJ’s APAC business in a way of satisfying both the regional characteristics and DBJ’s mission in high level, and be responsible for DBJ's entire business activities in Singapore while ensuring solid relationships with all the clients including government agencies.

2) **Direction on Business Segments**: Oversee and direct the company to maximize its performance to productively juggle various phases (research, origination, execution and monitoring) of financing and investment deals across various industries in collaboration with Japan HQ, engage in Company’s management issues and strategic initiatives by overseeing GMs appropriately. This position is expected to actually manage and lead the deal negotiations of highest complexity where necessary. This position is also expected to oversee the entire cross-border M&A deal origination & execution, by extensive knowledge and practical experience on cross-border M&A deals.

3) **Communicate with HQ**: Receive reports from GM on the company's business as appropriate, perform accurate analysis of DBJ's business situation in Singapore as well as APAC region, and ensure accountability to Japan HQ and its stakeholders.

4) **Company Management**: Oversee all areas of the company including HR, Accounting & Finance, Legal, Corporate Governance, and other administrative areas, and ensure the compoany continuously achieve the goals required by DBJ group. Also, This position is required to ensure that the company meets all the regulations, laws and other standards required by Singapore, Japan and the DBJ Group.

**Job Requirements**:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or relevant is required.

Past Working Experience
- At least 10 years of experience working for a government-related financial institution or investment firm, of which more than 3 years as General Manager position or above;
- Experience in all of the following fields as Manager position or above in the last 5 years: (1) Global investment and financing strategy development (at least SGD 15 bil in value); (2) Investment in ASEAN region (at least SGD 2 bil in value); and (3) Cross-border M&A advisory in ASEAN region;
- Advanced communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in both English and Japanese (JPLTN1 or equivalent level) are required to achieve effective and accurate communication with government agencies both in Japan and Singapore, as well as accountability for all domains of Singapore business to senior management and stakeholders at the Japan HQ;

Soft Skills:

- Experience of leading a team and ability to communicate with various stakeholders smoothly;
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Basic Skills:
