**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
- Conduct structural and thermal analysis (e.g., FEA) and select appropriate materials for performance and durability.
- Analyze kinematics and dynamics for mechanical stability, especially in aerial systems.
- Integrate motors, actuators, gear systems, and payloads.
- Prototype components using 3D printing, machining, and other fabrication methods.
- Oversee assembly and mechanical integration of sensors and electronics.
- Perform validation and stress testing, including environmental and flight tests.
- Collaborate with electrical, control, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Document CAD models, drawings, test procedures, and assembly guides.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.
- 3+ years in robotics hardware or mechatronics design (or equivalent R&D experience).
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and hands-on prototyping.
- Solid grasp of mechanical design principles, materials, kinematics, and manufacturing methods.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- PhD or advanced R&D in mechanical/robotics engineering.
- Experience with FEA/CFD tools, designing for environmental challenges (vibration, temperature, IP ratings).
- Experience in aerial robotic systems and safety standards (ISO 13849, ISO 10218).
- Proven ability to take designs from concept to fully functional hardware.
- Portfolio or research showcasing mechanical and mechatronic systems.
