Roles & Responsibilities

**Senior Java Developer**

The Senior Java Developer will be working in the Resource Management System (RMS) team who are responsible of developing airport solutions.

**Your main responsibilities include**
- Work closely with Functional Analysts to understand requirements and draft detailed functional specification.
- Suggest innovative approaches and solutions and participate in brainstorming sessions & meetings.
- Analyze existing products and functional specification.
- Design innovative solutions and create detailed technical specifications.
- Responsible for developing software as per approved technical specifications.
- Code, develop & deliver solutions efficiently.
- Engage in database design & modelling.
- Perform Unit, Integrated & Performance Tests.
- Meet committed deadlines with acceptable Quality Standards.
- Maintain acceptable Security Standards and adhere to Amadeus Standards.
- Engage in test-driven development, as well as drive & deliver projects from end-to-end.
- Support customer requests in timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, Fix and Resolve Issues.
- Meet expected SLAs
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with equivalent work experience.
- Experience in programming language and softwares such as Java EE development and object-oriented programming, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Oracle database, REST, JMS, Active MQ, JUnit, JBoss, Apache.
- Experience in Front-end development skills (Aria Templates or Angular JS, HTML, CSS, or Bootstrap).
- Preferably with some experience in Optimizing techniques or tools e.g. OptaPlanner
- Possess the knowledge Airport operations or background with Human Resource/ Staff Management Software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and multi-cultural environment with high initiative.
- Good team player and quick learner with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
