**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring and assignment of jobs to technicians
- Provide training and technical knowhow to new technicians/trainees
- Maintain good leadership and respect among technicians and peers
- Ascertains automotive problems and services provided in Job Card; clarifies the description of problems; conducts inspections; take test drives; checks vehicle maintenance records; examines service schedules.
- Use available systems to search and determine faulty parts for replacement
- Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
- Update findings/diagnosis, quotes, and delivery lead time in software for Service Advisor to follow up with the customer
- Conduct test drive and QC for the completed job by technicians
- Inform SA of job completion in order for SA to inform the customer accordingly
- Provide assistance in handling customers & calls if SA is busy or not available
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications (new car models and features)
- Take over SA role whenever required

**Requirements**:

- ITE automotive certification
- Minimum 3-year experience working as a technician/mechanic
- Experience working with Audi/VW vehicles will be an advantage
- Fresh graduates with no experience but who are willing to learn and with a positive attitude will be considered
- Willing to work overtime
