- **Safety Management**: Enforce and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- **Work Planning**: Develop work schedules, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure that the required resources are available.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that work complies with quality standards, government regulations, and client expectations.
- **Communication**: Act as the primary point of contact between workers, supervisors, and project managers.
- **Equipment Management**: Ensure equipment is functioning properly, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify problems on-site and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- **Material Management**: Ensure the procurement, delivery, and proper storage of materials, and minimize waste.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Monitor project timelines and costs, reporting any discrepancies or delays to higher management.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of daily operations, work progress, and incidents, and submit regular reports to upper management.
- **Crew Training**: Train workers on new techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use as necessary.
