Serve as Project Engineer on site. Support site and technical /engineering operations. Oversee the daily execution of project work in accordance to the schedule, adhering to costs, time and safety targets, while maintaining compliance with external regulations, company standards, project engineering and stakeholders' requirements/ specifications.

Support in electrical engineering and provides technical support to resolve queries, issues and problems. Are result oriented and possesses strong skills in problem solving, communication, interpersonal relations and supervision of teams.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage the technical specification, selection, modification and troubleshooting of electrical engineering equipment, components and systems to provide electrical engineering support to construction, maintenance and project teams
- Address on-site technical and engineering issues
- Plan and execute site testing and commissioning

2. Use engineering drawings, datasheets and layouts to support construction, maintenance and engineering activities
- Review engineering drawings to ensure that they comply with related specifications and local codes of practices and highlight any discrepancies
- Interpret Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrument Diagrams, schematics, blue prints and other engineering drawings and technical documentation to support work activities
- Check and review drawings by draftsman and submit for approval
- Coordinate updating of drawings for As-Built
- Keep record of approved documents and distribute copies to related parties

3. Manage project schedule, resources, cost and deliverables to minimize risk and improve productivity
- Identify core activities to be executed within the project schedule and develop project plans and cost sheet
- Prepare material bill of quantities (BOQ) for procurement
- Execute project plans and monitor progress of project activities / site work / tool changes
- Report on activity status and relevant delays and modify plans accordingly
- Prepare progress report and material / equipment / delivery order forms for progress claims
- Plan and execute site testing and commissioning

4. Effectively manage staff under the direct control of the position holder ranging from coordination to directing people and teams
- Conduct regular discussions with the team
- Give constructive feedback
- Promote an effective team working culture

5. Manage clients and partners to ensure continuous engagement by gathering requirements and feedback and resolving issue
- Implement communications plan to ensure that stakeholders are constantly kept informed
- Participate in technical / progress / coordination meetings and site walks with client / main contractor and share information with related parties
- Document interactions and feedback from stakeholders, highlighting opinions and disagreements
- Escalate conflict situations with stakeholders to senior team members
- Review the performance of sub-contractors regularly and give feedback

6. Implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures and put in place risk control measures to ensure a safe and reliable workplace environment
- Ensure that WSH hazards have been identified and risks (including OHS) have been assessed and control measures put in place to address the hazards and risks
- Participate in developing safe work practice and MSRA with relevant team members
- Adhere to OHS & WSH procedures
- Participate in workplace safety and health activities and meetings
- Support workplace emergency response procedures

**Job Requirements**
- A Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Possess a technician or electrician licence
- Meticulous time management and strong analytical capabilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently
