**A. Introduction**
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially-driven leader to spearhead our growth across regional and global markets. As Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading with hands-on implementation of commercial strategy, driving sales performance, and strengthening market positioning within the rapidly evolving smart technologies integration landscape. You will also be responsible for hiring and growing a team of revenue based sales leaders.
**B. Strategic Growth & Leadership**
1.1 Design and implement commercial strategies, sales plans and sales toolkits aligned with smart technologies market trends and emerging technologies. Be aware and updated of the Gartner charts.
1.2 Realize financial targets:
1.2.1 Set and exceed yearly and monthly revenue targets for distribution channels and key accounts.
1.2.2 Lead the annual commercial budgeting process in partnership with finance and business unit leader in the firm and with partners.
1.3 Identify market white space and growth opportunities in industrial automation, digital transformation, and smart infrastructure sectors.
**C. Sales & Market Development**
1.4 Guide and support regional leaders in the firm and with partners to achieve business targets across ASEAN and global territories.
1.5 Drive outbound sales initiatives, offer value-based solutions, and respond to complex client challenges and tenders. Write winning responses to:
1.5.1 RFP / RFI
1.5.2 Bids / Tenders qualifications
1.5.3 Bids / Tenders
1.6 Present domain focused integrated solutions to enterprise clients in the different domains and establish, build and enhance confidence relationships
1.7 Collaborate with global project pursuit teams in the company and with parners to secure large-scale transformation projects.
**D. Client Engagement & Business Expansion**
1.8 Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively pursuing new business opportunities. The relationships will be in the following preference order, face to face, online and over calls. The measurement of confidence relationship is measured on out-of-our-office meetings leading from call-to-actions to sales closures.
1.9 Conduct client meetings to assess evolving needs, propose tailored solutions, and negotiate commercial terms.
1.10 Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build partnerships and expand the client base.
1.11 Act as a primary liaison between clients, engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes and to build confidence.
**E. Product, Market & Competitive Intelligence**
1.13 Provide market insights on competitor activity, customer trends, product gaps, and industry developments.
1.14 Liaise with our product and R&D teams to influence roadmaps based on qualified customer and partner feedback and market demands.
1.15 Collaborate with our and partner marketing teams to align messaging, branding, and campaigns with commercial objectives.
**F. Operational Excellence**
1.16 Track and report KPIs, ROIs, and sales performance metrics across business units and regional teams.
1.17 Lead the development of sales and product training programs for internal teams and channel partners.
1.18 Ensure order processing, project execution, and service delivery align with customer expectations.
1.19 Drive cross-functional alignment to streamline commercial processes and improve customer experience.
**G. Additional Duties**
1.20 Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
**H. Qualifications & Experience**:
1.21 Proven sales winning experience in commercial leadership roles within the technology integration, industrial automation, or enterprise technology.
1.22 Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, meet/exceed revenue targets, and lead diverse sales teams.
1.23 Strong knowledge of digital transformation technologies.
1.24 Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. Have at least a C6 in English at GCE/GCSE N or O Levels or equivalent academic levels.
1.25 Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and translate strategy into execution. Have at least a Bachelors degree.
1.26 Demonstrated evolving skills and career growth from Small Medium Enterprises to Large firms.
1.28 Opened to skills transformation via Skills Future and / or academic platforms.
