Reporting to the Deputy Director, ITT, to assist in the conceptualization and execution of strategies in developing The Catalyst - a makerspace - into a vibrant training and prototyping facility for students and industry through innovative ideas and prototyping skills. Staff is responsible for supporting ITT’s administrative and operational needs of the makerspace in support of innovation through industry projects/events. Help to facilitate students training, assist in prototyping projects undertaken by students and SIT’s professional and technical specialists.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide consultancy/technical advice to support students and industry in their prototyping challenges.
- Provide administrative and technical support to ITT, such as procurement, innovation projects tracking and support.
- Ensure the makerspace to be adequately equipped with well-maintained equipment and well-stocked with consumables to serve the prototyping needs of users.
- Develop and conduct relevant training and certification programmes to empower students/industry to safely use the equipment and tools;
- Responsible for the budgeting, usage monitoring of the makerspace, and compile submissions of progress, utilization and budgetary reports.
- Check, verify and submit and track invoices, claims & reimbursements to relevant departments for timely processing.
- Ensure proper and regular filing and update of documents, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.
- Operate and maintain the tools and equipment such as 3D printers, A0 poster printer, and laser cutting & engraving machine, and assists in the management of consumables and assets.
- Any other general administrative duties and responsibilities.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum a Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in conducting trainings or coaching or in tinkering lab is preferred.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Positive work attitude, keen mind and preferably with some experience in design and technology related projects.
- Good administrative, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent as well as a team player and self-motivated.
- Meticulous with an eye for details, and able to work with tight deadlines.
- Technical knowledge and skills on equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of workplace and lab safety standards.
