**The Vriens & Partners Undergraduate and Graduate Fellowships**

The Vriens & Partners Fellowship program is a year-long opportunity to work with and contribute to our teams
in a selected country office in Southeast Asia. The program is open to undergraduate and graduates degree
holders from select institutions with demonstrated interest and experience in Southeast Asian political,
commercial and economic issues. During the program, Fellows will gain first-hand experience at the frontlines
of corporate government affairs in Southeast Asia, working with experienced V&P consultants and government
relations practitioners and clients. Responsibilities will differ for undergraduate Fellows and Graduate Fellows:
**Fellow**
- Carry out desk and primary research for clients on a wide variety of political and economic issues, as

well as identify industry and sectoral-specific challenges
- Conduct ground research through engagement with government agencies and relevant stakeholders
- Draft and prepare analytical reports, meeting notes, memos
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of the office and the firm as a
- whole- Liaise and coordinate with V&P’s other offices on regional client work, business development and

other firm development initiatives
**Graduate Fellow**
- The above activities, as well as:

- Prepare proposals and client presentations as part of business development work
- Meet with clients to understand their background and requirements
- Support and represent V&P at meetings and workshops

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding of and interest in government and financial/economic systems and structures across

Southeast Asia
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail.
- First rate analytical writing, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
- Academic background in Political Science, Law, Journalism, Economics, International Relations.

- Locations: Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Hanoi, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Phnom Penh, Yangon
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (full time) with understanding that weekend/urgent overtime work will be

required on a periodic basis.
