**Job Description**:
Zscaler is looking for passionate, experienced, security professionals to join our growing team of Security Architects. Security Architects possess a growth mindset of building and maintaining industry relevance within the InfoSec community, building and improving upon our go-to market strategy, and the ability to cultivate relationships with customers and within Zscaler.
One of your main goals in this role will be to elevate and win the technical mindshare of customers to adopt Zscaler advanced security features and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the security industry, advanced security platform offerings and how Zscaler is able to detect, mitigate, and respond to modern day threats.
The ability to mentor and educate other team members across different parts of Zscaler on our key differentiators compared to our competitor's offerings will be key. At the same time, you will challenge and educate our customers to evolve their security strategy.
In this role, you will be expected to help foster the customer’s technical decision towards a more modern security approach, as well as engage in new opportunities in partnership with the broader sales teams and partners. You will be enabling the Sales Engineers and arming them with broader knowledge of the security industry, the ever evolving threat landscape, and how Zscaler offers the best solutions for a Zero Trust journey and disrupting traditional security approaches.
**Qualifications**:
- Understand malware and sandbox concepts
- Understand security vulnerability and exploit lifecycle
- Knowledge of penetration testing framework (ie: Metasploit)
- Liaison and support strategic relationships when required such as Cyber Threat Alliance, CERT, and other intelligence initiatives
- Advanced Threat Protection: including Sandboxing, AI Technology and Ethical Hacking Additional skills should include good understanding of Threat Intelligence analysis and Automated Response
- Hands on experience with Kali and Linux pen testing systems
- Experience for this position is typically gained by having several years of success in a similar role working for a vendor or a customer
- Strong understanding of security, networking, authentication, cloud and Internet and fundamentals
- Strong understanding of how to navigate large enterprise organizational structures
- Substantial experience of business-to-business sales and business development
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-departmental collaboration on strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute on large, complex SaaS solution opportunities
- Experience managing executive-level relationships
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills and very engaging interpersonal skills
