Polyfoam Carver and Theming Artist

As a Polyfoam Carver and Theming Artist, your role is to transform blocks of Styrofoam into intricate and visually captivating sculptures, displays, and artworks. Sometimes, you will be given 3D printed sculptures or polyfoam machine crafted sculptures for theming and painting as well.

You will create/theme the sculptures for events, exhibitions and permanent art/store display. Your work will require precision carving, shaping, and finishing of Styrofoam material to create stunning three-dimensional pieces.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with clients or design teams to translate concepts or designs into tangible Styrofoam sculptures and artworks.

Use specialized tools such as hot wires, knives, rasps, and sandpaper to carve, shape, and refine Styrofoam blocks according to the design specifications. Achieve smooth and precise surfaces to ensure high-quality finished products.

Pay meticulous attention to detail to capture intricate design elements and ensure accuracy in proportions and dimensions, maintaining the integrity of the intended design.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong artistic aptitude with a keen eye for colors, design, proportion, and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in using various carving tools and equipment to create intricate and detailed designs.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous Styrofoam carving and artistic work.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 5 years Prior experience in Styrofoam carving, sculpture, or related artistic fields.
