**Job Functions & Summary:
Responsible for proposing, managing and supervising all maintenance activities of the golf courses.

**Job Roles & Responsibilities:
(1) Plan and prioritize work, monitor course conditions and worker productivity, implement training and keeping records. Develop alternate plans adaptable to changing conditions.

(2) Roster course maintenance staff and supervise work being carried out to achieve the highest course maintenance standards.

(3) Inspection of the course condition on a daily basis and preparing weekly miscellaneous works summary for action to be carried out.

(4) Supervise the preparation of course for major tournaments.

(5) Perform monthly stock-take of fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides and ensuring stock cards are properly maintained.

(6) Work closely with maintenance supervisors on the up-keep of course maintenance equipment.

(7) Perform physical check on the condition of the course equipment on a weekly basis and prepare repair request as and when necessary. Propose for the acquisition of course maintenance equipment.

(8) Recruit and train new course maintenance staff.

(9) Maintain and submit staff records such as attendance, overtime, medical etc.

(10) Attend monthly Greens Sub-Committee and Staff meetings.

(11) Assist in the preparation of the annual course maintenance expenses budget.

(12) Plan, design and maintain all landscape and horticultural work involved within the Club premises.

(13) Supervise tree planting projects and any other projects as assigned by the Greens Sub-Committee.

(14) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of golf play, course design and turf management.
- An eye for detail to ensure quality control for tasks and highly motivated, quality driven and results oriented individual.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Positive attitude towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to lead, motivate a large team of staff, adapt, embraces strong cultural diversity and work in multi-ethnic team.
- Able to commence immediate employment or within short notice will be an added advantage.
