Interaction Designer, Search

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, Content Strategists, and Product Managers throughout the design process.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates experience crafting digital interfaces, and designing consumer-focused, app/mobile products.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 9 years of experience in UX Design.
- Experience designing within the Android ecosystem.
- Experience working with distributed teams/timezones.
- Experience with presenting to stakeholders, and speaking on behalf of the team’s objectives and ambitions.
- Portfolio with experience in product strategy or working within a problem space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to specification, and collaborate with them to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.
- Create new designs including user flows, wireframes, mocks, and/or prototypes in partnership with design leads. Rationalize and justify design work and advocate for all types of users needs.
- Drive a product strategy to enable Google to deliver great battery experiences. Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.- Manage designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
