Software Simulation and Data Visualization

The Software Simulation and Data Visualization Specialist is to work as a member of the technical learning development team. The post holder is to implement software simulation solution through software programming and scripting. In addition, the post holder will work with faculty and learning designers to design and develop learner-centered solutions and adopt appropriate educational technology to enhance the school’s teaching and learning initiatives. A good understanding of at least one scripting language and a data analysis tool is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work and collaborate as a team across different functional domains-
- Create engaging learning software solutions to meet learners’ needs- Maintenance of software scripts and tools- Perform software testing, bugs fixing, quality control check on the software solutions- Manage learning projects, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring quality of deliverables- Design and develop simulations and models to inform education development- Implement data visualization and analysis to inform relevant policies and decisions
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in software simulation and data analysis- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in scripting languages for app development and implementation- Experience in project management and technical development- Experience in designing and developing high impact learning resources via software tools and solutions, using a variety of innovative approaches- Excellent presentation and communication skills. Able to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized manner to stakeholders
This is a 3 years contract appointment.
