Position: Associate / Senior Associate
Core Functions & Responsibilities:
- Supporting the process of identifying and assessing investment opportunities in the real estate sector, spanning across several sub-sectors and asset class, including research and financial analysis on target companies
- Constantly developing and renewing industry / sector knowledge as well as macro and regulatory changes
- Monitoring market trends and closely tracking existing portfolio assets to support investment / divestment making decisions
- Performing deal evaluation, due diligence, industry / company analysis, financial modeling, and preparing necessary materials for recommendation to investment committee
- Regular monitoring and preparation of reports on the performance of portfolio companies
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with companies, corporate partners and other relevant institutions.
Qualifications & Capabilities:
- Working Experience: 1-3 years of working experience with a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, corporate finance, M&A and/or accounting firm; preferably with exposure to the Real Estate Industry
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- High level of interpersonal, writing and presentation skills
- Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
- Familiar with use of appropriate electronic data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Factiva, Capital IQ, etc) for business and industry information research and productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Tableau, etc).
