The team creates a fun, warm and friendly shopping experience throughout the store by sharing their product knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers; helping to answer questions, offering suggestions and walking our customers to the products they are searching for. Every one of our team members ensures our customers know that they are always welcomed and cared for here at _**_Little Farms _**.
- Provide general leadership and supervision to the bakery factory
- Recruit, rigorously/continuously train and develop, and manage the team of bakers and other team members at our other bakery facilities to make consistently excellent artisanal bakery products *
- Fulfill the daily bakery product requirements for our retail outlets, including setting and maintaining high-quality standards, meeting volume requirements, and ensure that all daily retail orders are accurate and timely
- Ensure ingredients are properly managed and handled by the Team
- Ensure the Team follows the recipe cards and production guidelines
- Ensure deliveries, incoming orders, and inventory levels are accurately monitored daily
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in proper working condition
- Plan daily/weekly work schedule for the Team and ensure fair employment practices
- Ensure daily assignment of work duties are communicated to the Team Members and work objectives are met timely on daily basis
- Help the Team prepare, finish off and bake daily products when needed
- Develop new bakery products in close coordination with the relevant team members and departments in the Company
- Fulfill the bakery requirements for the wholesale customers, and ensure our products are of the desired high quality, that all daily orders are accurate and timely and our wholesale service is prompt, warm and efficient, leaving the customer with a positive impression of our Company
- Ensure the daily administrative tasks at the factory are well managed, and liaise with other departments in the Company as needed (HR, Finance etc.)
- Help develop opportunities and business with new wholesale customers
- Lead and manage the bakery factory to achieve or exceed the agreed yearly business plan, including achieving operational and financial KPIs
- Maintain our HACCP certification, standards and checklists and ensure we operate consistent with industry best standards for matters of safety and hygiene
- Current product range: sourdough bread, viennoiserie, cakes, tarts, cookies, desserts
