AVPN’s diversity of social investor community benefits from a thematic focus that provides opportunities to move capital towards specific impact areas. The AVPN strategy focuses on four thematic areas: Climate, Health, Gender Equality, and Youth. The objective of the Gender Platform is to mobilize capital towards initiatives that improve outcomes for women and girls. It does this through a network of philanthropists (Asia Gender Network), designing and executing products and programmes for the Gender Platform with the broader AVPN team, and driving engagement for the AVPN members.

**Responsibilities**:
The Senior Associate will support the team to achieve AVPN's overall objectives in strengthening/growing AVPN funders community, improving programme reach and engagement, advancing thought leadership in Asia, and achieving grant-funded project outcomes enablng more capital to be moved.
- Support programs to build a community of practice for funders and strengthen member engagement on the platform. These may include networking events, knowledge forums, research projects, collaborative vehicles, pool funds, policy white papers, etc.
- Develop content (social media posts, blogs, or articles) from events, discussions, or member engagements.
- Assist managers in project deliverables, fundraising pipeline, and grant management.
- Work to develop AVPN’s internal team competency and knowledge in the theme or target community, strengthening AVPN's overall readiness to engage relevant stakeholders.
- Work across program verticals such as Knowledge, Policy, and Capital Mobilization to integrate them into the Gender portfolio.
- Assist the Partnerships team in developing a pipeline for future funders of the Platform.
- Work with the Markets team to recruit and engage members for the Gender platform and AGN.

**Requirements**:

- 2-4 years of experience in project or programme management working with lean teams to execute projects that advance strategic impact initiatives.
- Foundational knowledge of Gender trends in Asia
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- Project management skills
- You have experience writing articles and creating content for social media
- You understand the power of networks to mobilise more capital for better development outcomes.
- You are collaborative and know how to work within a diverse team.
- You are an effective communicator (written and oral) with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders of varying seniority.
- You meet deadlines and independently follow through on all assigned responsibilities.
- You prioritize your work effectively while managing multiple projects so that nothing falls through the cracks.
- Experience working in Google Workspace and Salesforce.
