Principal Systems Validation Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
MaxLinear is seeking a Principal Systems Validation Engineer to join our ream. In this role, you will focus on:

- System validation for highly parallel next generation hardware accelerator SoCs for Home Router & Gateway Product
- Contribute to full life-cycle product development on emulation platforms and system reference designs
- Responsible for Pre-silicon verification and post-silicon system validation of SoC
- Define SoC Verification Strategy, manage Test case definition and test plan execution
- Test program and test automation scripts development
- Complex System issue debugging,
- Lead HW/SW/FW co-verification
- Coach junior Engineering staff

Qualifications:

- Experienced with Verification of SoC in emulation and prototyping environment & verification techniques
- Minimum 10 years and above of working experience with system validation in complex SoC (System on Chip) environment
- Familiar with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer
- Good understanding in network protocol in ethernet, IP & Routing
- Ability to use methodological approaches to solve highly complex problems
- Knowledge of Microcontrollers (ARM, ATOM, ARC), DSP, SoC, hardware bring-up, emulation and FPGA platform
- Experience of C/C++ Programming and other test script development languages
- Networking domain expertise is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SoC architecture and design principles
- Familiar with HSIO, High speed ethernet, SFP, XFI, PCIe Gen4/Gen5 & USB
- Bachelor Degree or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
