Ed, Regional Wealth Management Operations Head. Consumer Banking Group Operations

CBGO (Consumer Banking Group Operations) is the key operations partner to the CBG Consumer Banking and Wealth Management business. With our digital operating model and customer servicing capabilities, we aim to deliver best-in-class service to our client base, from retail to affluent and private banking segments across the region - Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, China, and Thailand.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and drive strategies and transformational programs for Regional PB/Wealth Management operations.
- Implement and execute WMO projects and initiatives, including the design of the target operating model, use of new technologies such as GenAI, and workflow/workbench design and enablement to achieve operational efficiencies.
- Partner with the business at MTJ to drive PB/Wealth business growth plans and strengthen ops support and servicing models to achieve best-in-class results.
- Work with tech partners to effectively drive technology budget deliverables for operations projects/initiatives.
- Oversee operational controls and governance responsibilities related to the operating control environment and compliance with regulations, group policies, and requirements.
- Provide strategic guidance and support on critical initiatives in line with goals set for the Group.
- Drive the annual planning process for the function and establish a strong performance management discipline.
- Maintain financial discipline in investments and costs for the Group.
**Requirements**:
- Deep experience in PB/Wealth Business, operations, and change management.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills; strategic thinker; hands-on and delivery focused.
- Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of 15 years of experience working in Banking Operations and a strong skill set in operational management and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication skills; highly driven and a self-starter.
- Experienced in designing and implementing complex transformation programs, encompassing areas such as organizational structure, policies, procedures, risk assessment, technology resources, and management information.
- Strong understanding of the impact of operations on business and stakeholders, with a proven track record of driving and executing projects and initiatives effectively.
- Possess maturity in judgment, with a strong focus on critical thinking, effective facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organizing, decision-making, and delegation.
