The data we generate provides our clients with the information they need to make critical, well informed, business decisions.

UTEC is looking for a skilled Data Processor to join our Offshore team in Singapore on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Data Processor is responsible for the on-board processing, QC and management of all
relevant acquired data including but not limited to hydrographic and/or bathymetric data, as well as the production of associated charts.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Data Quality Control - Inspect raw data quality and promptly report any discrepancies to the supervisor to ensure it meets required standards
- Survey Log Review - Analyze and verify survey logs compiled by data acquisition teams for accuracy and completeness
- Data Processing - Process acquired datasets using company-approved software while maintaining up-to-date processing logs and recording all offsets used
- Processing Coordination - Collaborate with teams and advisors to define processing requirements, ensuring all datasets are handled effectively
- Time Management - Prioritize processing tasks to meet project deadlines while following predefined procedures and supervisor instructions
- Quality Assurance - Perform quality control at each processing stage to maintain data integrity and ensure outputs align with project needs
- Deliverable Preparation - Regularly review processing sequences with the supervisor to ensure final deliverables meet expectations and project specifications
- Compliance & Standards - Adhere to company quality management systems and maintain compliance with industry and safety regulations
- Chart Production - Create and amend charts as required to support project deliverables
- Health & Safety - Follow UTEC’s Quality and HSE procedures, adhere to PPE requirements, and exercise the authority to "Stop the Job" if safety risks are identified

**Requirements**:

- Education in Geomatics/Survey degree are desired
- More than 2 Years relevant industry experience is essential as offshore Data Processor role
- Technical understanding and knowledge of major survey equipment and software used in the offshore survey sector
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with NaviSuite and VisualSoft Software
- Fully Covid Vaccinated (Jabs and Boosters)
