**Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a shop sales assistant at our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized shop environment. You will also be expected to do shift work and rotate roles with the ground crew, taking care of daily maintenance of the snooker tables.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers as they enter the shop and assist them with their purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register and point-of-sale system
- Keep the shop clean and organized at all times, including sweeping and dusting shelves
- Assist customers with product recommendations and answer any questions they may have
- Perform general office duties, such as answering phones and responding to membership queries
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer privacy
- Do shift work and rotate roles with the ground crew, taking care of daily maintenance of the snooker tables

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred
- Cashier experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
