Senior Automation Maintenance Engineer

Our client is a microelectronics distribution company that focuses on bridging the gap between suppliers and downstream customers. They are one of the top microelectronics company worldwide and are looking to continue expanding their company.
- Lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated warehouse systems (conveyor belts, sorters, AS/RS etc)
- Supervise and mentor technicians / warehouse assistants to strengthen their technical skills to ensure staff are knowledgeable on ways to troubleshoot warehouse systems if required
- Ensure machinery downtime is minimized through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Monitor equipment performance and analyze root causes of failures; implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability
- Work closely with automatic vendors and contractors for complex repair / system upgrades
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of maintenance schedules, SOPs, and incident logs
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system uptime
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain up-to-date on in-house automation systems and attend training sessions when necessary

**Job Requirements**:

- At least a diploma / degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering
- At least 3 years and above of working experience in the High-Tech / Logistics / 3PL / Supply Chain facilities
- Knowledge of PLC systems, motors, sensors, drives and industrial automation components will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and work well in a fast-paced environmentOpen to traveling around APAC (HK, China, Taiwan etc) for business trips and training
