As a NAND Electrical Characterization Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be an integral part of Micron’s cutting-edge Technology & Products Group. You will be responsible for researching, organizing, and conducting reverse engineering projects in support of Micron’s development of next-generation memory technologies. In this role you will be highly focused on extracting critical electrical competitive benchmarking data from the semiconductor industry’s most advanced and innovative memory technologies. You will collaborate with a diverse group of teams including Technology Development, Design, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and Legal.
Typical Activities and Responsibilities include
- Reverse engineering competitor algos on NAND parts
- Investigate new features and findings from competitor devices on Micron products
- Develop and deploy new testing solutions for competitor NAND components
- Endurance, performance, power data collection
- Preparing competitor die, collecting and analyzing uProbing waveforms
- Collaborate and support TD Cell characterization at die level
- Analysis of data and market intelligence for competitive benchmarking purposes
- Active participation in competitive benchmarking working groups
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor industry preferred
- 1+ year of NAND experience in design, or product engineering
- Strong foundation in coding with Python, Perl
Desired Skills
- uProbing and NAND waveform knowledge preferred
- Great problem solving and analytical skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in both an individual and team-based work environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Education
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
