As the Electrical and Automation Construction & Commissioning Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction and commissioning activities related to electrical systems and automation in various project. This role ensures project objectives are met, industry standards are followed, and compliance with regulations is maintained. Leading a team, the incumbent provides technical guidance and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

The responsibilities of the Lead (not limited to) the followings:

- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure timely availability of resources, materials, and equipment for construction and commissioning activities.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
- Monitor progress, quality, and safety of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify and address any issues, resolve technical challenges, and provide technical guidance to the construction team.
- Lead commissioning activities, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and integration of electrical and automation systems.
- Collaborate with project teams and vendors to resolve any issues or deficiencies identified during commissioning, ensuring system performance and functionality.
- Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with documentation and record-keeping requirements as per project and organizational standards.

Qualification and experience preferred:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications or additional training is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical and automation construction and commissioning, preferably in complex industrial projects such as shipyards, power plants, or manufacturing facilities.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under pressure.
