Key Responsibilities- Business partnership between strategic sourcing and product development for new product launch projects within instrumentations.- Drive project deliverables by collaborating with cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders.- Navigate through ambiguity to define and focus on priorities to deliver business objectives.- Negotiates agreements (i.e., development agreement, statements of work, licensing agreement) achieving favorable terms that mitigate business risks and protect Illumina’s IP while maintaining cost competitiveness.- Strengthen strategic supplier relationships to reduce business risk and support supplier escalations.- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop capabilities, continuity, and capacity.- Support the execution of continuous improvement initiatives within Global Supply Chain.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experiences

Preferred Qualifications- Strategic thinker; anticipates and develops business opportunities and priorities for future action while also executing on concrete business objectives.- Customer focused, able to listen, very responsive, and action oriented to meet business needs while maintaining a positive, professional outlook.-
- Business acumen; demonstrated ability to understand financial and legal terms- Ability to deal effectively with pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines, and rapidly changing priorities.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with requisite interpersonal skills to partner, collaborate and build relationships with business partners, suppliers, and regional teams.- Experience developing and leading RFx events.- Experience with contract manufacturers.- Strong negotiator; ability to negotiate the best deal for ILMN and influence upward.- Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems.- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
