As a MES Engineer under Engineering

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Maintain, support, and administrate the MES and SCADA system.
- Perform MES/SCADA system change and related enhancements / bug fixes.
- Maintain and perform routine system / server health check and backup/restore for Industrial PCs / PLCs.
- Drive key site initiatives/ projects from planning to project completion.
- Lead and support automation/system related projects.
- Develop/review project documentations and related SOPs.
- Perform system/software validation.
- Perform, review, and approve SOP updates.
- Ensure compliance to GxP and HSE
- Liaison with site, global and regional Alcon counterparts and vendors to ensure good working relationships.
- Conduct investigation for Non-conformance (NCR)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or relate Engineering fields
- Knowledge and experiences in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Supervisory Control Automation and Data Acquisition (SCADA) would be advantageous but not a must
- Training will be provided
