**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Management**:

- Oversee daily operations of the cafeteria, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and delivery.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with local health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Manage equipment maintenance and address any operational issues promptly.

**Financial Management**:

- Prepare and manage budgets for cafeteria operations.
- Monitor and control operating costs, including food, labor, and supplies.
- Analyze sales and expenses to identify opportunities for cost savings and profitability improvements.Ensure accurate cash handling and financial reporting.

**Menu Planning & Food Quality**:

- Collaborate with chefs or kitchen staff to plan and update menus, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Respond to customer feedback and make adjustments to menu offerings as needed.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- Recruit, train, and manage cafeteria staff, including cooks, servers, and cleaning personnel.
- Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and motivation.

**Customer Experience**:

- Ensure a welcoming and pleasant dining experience for all customers.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks and staff training to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in food service management, with a focus on cafeteria operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).POS (Point of Sale) systems and cafeteria management software.

**Inventory management tools.**
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges.
- Knowledge of local dining trends and customer preferences.Multilingual proficiency is an added advantage.
