We’re searching for an **Equipment Engineer** **to be part of our **Etch** diverse team of talent.

**What you will be working on**:

- Perform shift duties and 12hrs day/night rotating shift to support production as requested
- Maximize uptime of equipment to sustain equipment performance with quality.
- Effective troubleshooting of equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime
- Monitor and control equipment performance indices
- Co-ordinate with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives
- Establish sufficient essential spares and consumables stock levels to support equipment maintenance, and liaise with vendors to minimize/eliminate overstocking and understocking
- Forecast and review equipment spares and other equipment-related expenditures
- Plan and implement effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program on the equipment as well as organize installation of new equipment to support the production ramp
- Organize training and certification for equipment AE and new equipment engineers to upgrade their technical skills
- Implement equipment improvement projects to upkeep capabilities and reliabilities of equipment
- Co-ordinate new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production
- Facilitate and participate in 10k idea, LSS & BKM and cost reduction programs to optimize equipment utilization and PM cost.
- Documentation of Corrective Action and Best-Known Methods for equipment to allow more efficient troubleshooting
- Initiate in-depth study on the equipment function module and expertise these skill during equipment troubleshooting
- Help group leader to execute the line problem by clear prioritized instruction
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
- To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.

**More about you**:

- Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical /Microelectronics
- At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical/ electronics industry
- Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift
- Team Player
