Senior Baker

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the preparation and baking of pastries, ensuring quality and consistency in every product.
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring timely and exceptional output while managing junior bakers effectively.
- Innovate and develop new recipes to enhance Kwaasong’s artisanal identity.
- Ensure the kitchen and baking areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and organisational standards.
- Manage inventory levels of baking ingredients and tools, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock usage.
- Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring full compliance with all applicable standards.
- Train and mentor junior bakers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Work closely with the team to streamline operations and optimize production efficiency.

**Job Requirements**
- Extensive experience as a baker, with at least 8 years in a professional baking environment, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong passion for artisanal baked goods and commitment to craftsmanship.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and modern baking techniques.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage production schedules, and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or basic MS Office skills is a plus.
- A collaborative attitude and a desire to contribute to Kwaasong’s growth and success.
