**Responsibilities**:

- **Manage and maintain equipment operation, calibration, preventive maintenance**:

- **Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment**:

- Prioritize and allocate laboratory (project) operations and workflow so that the laboratory’s equipment and resources are used efficiently and work schedules and targets are met
- **Research, evaluate and recommend investments in technology, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the laboratory’s performance**:

- Ensure that effective change management is applied during trials and implementation of alternative processes, methods and establishment of new equipment
- **Evaluate, conduct investigation and correct deviation of QC process, equipment performance and analytical cross check**:

- **Method development, review and amendment of SOP**:

- Introduction, testing, documentation of procedure, training to QC members
- Leaderships for Ad Hoc Projects (collaboration with other department) and new grades product
- Abide to all quality, environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
- **Plan, co-ordinate and support Lab Supervisor, Day Lab Assistant & Shift Lab Technicians in analytical, safety, equipment activities**:

- Promote and participate in safety, improvement & cost reduction activities amongst laboratory members
- Task as assigned by QC Manager

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field
- **3 - 5 years’ relevant working experience**:

- **Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced Chemical Manufacturing QC environment**
