**Job Title: Golf Course Officer (Marshal)
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Starts players on the first tee and explains the local rules and conditions for the day
- Present a well-rehearsed starter spiel to provide all the information a golfer will be required to know throughout the duration of their round
- Maintains a complete and accurate starter sheet
- Strongly enforce local course rules and policies such as repairing ball marks, fill divots, and maintains acceptable pace-ofplay
- Repair ball marks, fill divots, sand bottle are full, replace any hazard stakes or any directional signage on the golf course, and collects trash that may be on the course
- On-course player assistance, ensuring player safety and appropriate behavior
- Monitor inclement weather, adhere to lightning procedure and responsible for evacuation and safety of golfers
- Communicate constantly with Club
- Concierge/Golf Shop and all Golf Operation team
- Reports all problems and situations (time pace delay) to supervisor or department heads in a timely manner
- Maintains an accurate up-to-date disciplinary record for minor and major offenses made by members and guests
- First point person to address issues on course such as dangerous play incidences and other on-course emergencies
- Should be updated and knowledgeable on basic local and R&A rules
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Good interpersonal skills are required to ensure enforcement is received in an agreeable manner

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions
- Job Knowledge, skill, and Ability preferences:

- Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job
- Works in shifts, must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and six-days work week
