NQAC (Nestle Quality Assurance Center) Singapore is situated within R&D Center and are part of the Food Safety network in Nestle. We are the competency center for contaminant analysis supporting the region of AOA (Asia-Oceania-Africa) by providing the highest quality food safety testing and playing a vital role in safeguarding food and beverage safety.

We are looking for agile and passionate personnel on analytical testing to join us as an Associate Chemist to carry out testing of samples according to procedure in excellent quality and timely manner while ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, methods are verified for the scope of usage, executed and documented as per quality system and accreditation requirements.

**A day in the life of...**
- Performs and executes analytical testing and validates results according to competency matrix following requirements of quality system based on ISO17025 (2017)
- Takes part in method implementation (validation, verification, matrix extension)
- Monitor analytical method performance and conduct investigation and take action if method performance is out of trend.
- Conducts equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure they meet the specification & responsible to troubleshoot on the equipment when performance not met
- Assists section head in Site preparation and commissioning of new equipment according to technical specifications and requirements (change managements). Monitors and maintains necessary inventory for chemicals and materials.
- Applies Safety rules as outlined in NQAC SHE Manual & being representative of a section in safety committee
- Involved in internal and external audits as needed.
- Actively involved in daily laboratory safety & housekeeping activities
- Actively takes part in daily operational reviews and lead continuously improvement initiatives with regards to the quality system, safety & operational efficiency in the lab
- Conduct root cause analysis and follow up action when any deviation or abnormal result

**What will make you successful**
- Degree or Master's in Chemistry or Food Science
- At least 3 years experience in GCMS analytical technique
- Experience in ISO 17025 internal and external audit
