**About our client**:Our client is a leading global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

**About the role:
You will be part of the Transport team, working for a range of clients including government agencies, local authorities, developers and contractors. Your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrate technical knowledge and expertise to advise clients and stakeholders
- Work closely with other transport and environmental design disciplines in the delivery of projects
- Delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the project lifecycle
- Engage with internal and external design teams and lead and guide design engineers and technicians
- Look to innovate and develop design systems alongside the company's Digital Design Team
- Provide guidance, instruct, motivate, and manage assigned staff on the project
- Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues and assist in mentoring and development
- Demonstrate ability in financial management of projects.
- Supporting bid teams to prepare proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 years of working experience in Civil Engineering / Traffic Engineering, preferably from a Consultancy environment.
- Experienced in project delivery including authoring and reviewing reports, drawings and specifications
- Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
- Experience working on design & build projects and have worked with central government, local authorities or contractors as clients
- Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative. Excellent communicator who is highly organized and able to prioritize.
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships with clients and partners.
