**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Education governance and policies
- Support Associate Provost (Undergraduate Education) on academic policies, governance and curriculum matters.
- Manage the initial implementation of UG policies and guidelines, as necessary.
- Curriculum, pedagogy and academic resources
- Plan, manage and facilitate specific UG curriculum review exercises and the in-depth review and evaluation of UG programmes, as assigned.
- Support the development of new UG programmes, as assigned.
- Conduct data analysis to inform and drive educational policies, reviews, programmes and/or innovations.
- Craft evidence-based educational policies and proposals.
- Committee Secretariat, Management Reporting and Communications
- Co-secretariat of the University Education Committee (UEC), assisting the Chairperson to ensure effective and efficient resolutions to the agenda.
- Co-secretariat of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UCC), assisting the Chairperson to ensure effective and efficient resolutions to the agenda.
- Co-secretariat of the Provost's Council.
- Secretariat of other university-level / cross-department taskforces as assigned.
- Management reporting
- Coordinate and collate university-wide data and statistics and prepare regular reports for MOE, BOT and other internal and external stakeholders as required for UG, PCE and student development matters.
- Oversee the reporting and review of the SMU Holistic Student Development Framework to Provost's Council.
- Education Strategy
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of specific educational strategic initiatives, as assigned by the Director, Education Strategy.
- Track and report on project management matters related to SMU's strategic initiatives for education that cut across multiple SMU units and pillars within the Office of the Provost.
- Facilitate integration of educational strategic initiatives with units outside of the PVO Education team, where relevant, such as but not limited to Academic Operations, Student Experience (ODOS), and Alumni Relations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience required.
- Independent, resourceful and a good team-player.
- Detail-oriented and analytical, including proficiency in basic data analysis to facilitate decision making.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet short deadlines and execute against competing or changing priorities as well as concurrent projects.
- Prior experience in the higher education sector and an understanding of Singapore's higher education landscape preferred.
