[What you will be working on]

Reporting to the Operations Special Project Office, you will be part of a team whose duties includes conceptualisation of projects and formulation of policies for the emerging trends in maritime industry.

Your key responsibilities include:
1. Formulate and review policies and concept of operations governing port/craft operations, based on key developments and future trends in the maritime industry, such as MASS development.

2. Formulate and evaluate policy position as well as operational requirements to ensure the use of sea space/anchorage resources.

3. Work closely with international partners and stakeholders, and to attend international forums such as IMO and IALA to demonstrate Singapore’s leadership thoughts on emerging industry trends.

4. Assist in the conceptualisation, development and monitoring of the test bedding projects identified under ITM, harnessing the use of technologies, to improve the productivity and efficiency of harbour and port operations and port activities.

5. Work closely with the funding dept, operations dept and industry partners to operationalize the operation concept for the purpose of test-beddings.

[What we are looking for]

You should possess relevant experience and knowledge in maritime, port operations, regulatory policy, or project management. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex and diverse stakeholders.

You should be resourceful with good organization, time management and problem-solving skills to manage assigned projects. You must be comfortable to perform your duties under pressure and manage work priorities within deadlines.
