Alt Research is the company building and maintaining the AltLayer Network — an elastic scaling layer for all blockchains. AltLayer equips both EVM (e.g., Ethereum) and non-EVM chains (e.g., Polkadot) with an on-demand execution layer that can handle large surge in transaction processing requests. AltLayer enables dApp developers to quickly spin off a custom execution layer called flash layer to serve users, with near-instant finality (< 2s), low gas fees (< 0.01USD) and high throughput (~2,000 tps).

The project is being developed by blockchain veterans and award-winning researchers, who have previously held key roles at Parity, Zilliqa and Synthetix.

Role
We are looking for top talents to join our fast-growing team to build a scalable future for blockchains. We are currently looking for a Marketing Specialist, who will be working closely with our management team to define and execute our marketing growth plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and content, including press release announcements, technical blog posts, community initiatives, social media campaigns, and day to day planning of the content calendar.
- Launch and manage marketing campaigns, such as AMAs, community polls, live streams, giveaways, podcasts, and Twitter Spaces.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to shape both the long-term and the short-term growth of the company.
- Establish brand building strategies across all channels, including the AltLayer website, Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Medium, and other 3rd party platforms.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years of experience in marketing and/or PR, preferably within the blockchain/crypto industry.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of blockchain, particularly DeFi and Web3 is highly desirable.
- Basic to intermediate graphic design knowledge is a huge plus.
- Digital marketing fluency for work on our channels and performance measurement, including all common-knowledge marketing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and high work standard.
- Team player and self-driven.
