**Lead Research Excellence at Curtin Singapore**

Curtin Singapore is seeking a visionary **Director of Research** to drive the campus’s research strategy and performance. Reporting to the PVC and President, you’ll lead research development, training programs, funding initiatives, and quality assurance. Collaborating across Curtin Singapore, Curtin University Australia, and academic schools, you’ll shape a unified and impactful research ecosystem aligned with the university’s global goals.

**Qualifications**:
**Leadership**
- Collaborate with the Pro Vice-Chancellor and President as part of the Curtin Singapore Leadership Team to guide strategic planning and performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Curtin’s core values: integrity, courage, impact, respect, and excellence.
- Lead the development and implementation of research priorities, initiatives, and training programs.

**Management**
- Oversee the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) lifecycle, from recruitment to completion, ensuring timely progression and student success.
- Mentor researchers at all career stages, promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration and external engagement.
- Support the development of strategic research infrastructure and funding opportunities in partnership with internal teams.

**Performance & Quality**
- Champion a culture of research excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor compliance and quality processes, and support professional development for research staff.
- Enhance industry engagement and support early career researchers in securing grants and publishing.

**Innovation & Change**
- Drive innovation and sustainable growth in research, including diversification of funding sources.
- Lead staff development initiatives to build research capability and align with strategic goals.
- Contribute to campus-wide change programs that foster innovation and collaboration.

**Engagement**
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Curtin Singapore’s research profile.
- Collaborate with global partners and agencies to support international research initiatives.
