**About the role**:
IPOS International is supporting the Singapore Intellectual Property initiatives in developing good jobs and valuable skills in IA/IP to build an IA/IP-savvy workforce and base of IA/IP talents, creating good job opportunities for Singaporeans and bolster Singapore’s international reputation for quality skills in IA/IP management. This position is for a fixed term of 2 years, extendable to a further of 2 more years. Reporting to the Head of the IP Academy unit and working with a dynamic IA/IP expert team on this initiative, you will be expected to develop a good understanding of IA/IP skills required for the economy.

**What you will be working on**:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and map jobs and skills needs.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and research on trends and demand of IP skills
- Interpret and sense-make jobs and skills information from a variety of primary and secondary sources.
- Engage and influence lead agencies and industry partners to promote adoption of IA/IP skills
- Research and engage with consultants and industry partners to develop an IP management skills standard.
- Manage the planning, tracking and management reporting of funding utilization and outcomes/KPIs achieved across various initiatives.
- Perform secretariat duties for relevant meetings

**Are you the one? Please write to us if you have/are**:

- Good understanding of jobs and skills framework. Experience with development of relevant frameworks and standards will be advantageous.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
- A degree in any discipline.
- Have ACLP/ACTA certificate will be advantageous.
- Experience in public service, with an interest in interagency work and driving national initiatives.
- Energetic self-starter who can work independently and flexibly.
- Good analytical, communication, project management, presentation and writing skills.
- Pro-active, resourceful, and up for challenges.
- Basic understanding of the types of IP is useful.
